The Attic Bass adventure has changed all of our lives from the beginning... It all started with our mutual interest in electronic music and DJing.
We decided to join forces for a common goal, and our team was formed by the end of 2016. Our first test recordings were made at home, using relatively simple technical means.
We moved from one apartment to the next for nearly a year, learning something new every time.
However, our undying love for music compelled us to take things to the next level and seek out a more permanent studio space. In the autumn of 2017, we moved into our first rental studio.
We finally got everything up and running after several setbacks, and launched our very first online program, Live DJ Mix Broadcast - Drum and Bass. Initially, only members of our team performed; however, after a few streams, more and more DJs from the local music scene expressed interest in visiting us and performing on the show.
With all of this new energy, our broadcast channel expanded into a new branch, and by the end of 2018, we had launched the Techno Takeover series.
Both shows were scheduled several weeks in advance, and interest in our activities grew exponentially over time.
It became clear that we had outgrown our current studio and required a larger space. We started looking for a new place in the beginning of 2019 and soon after moved to a different part of town.
But fate had other plans for us, and we were evicted in the midst of construction work and ongoing shows, forcing us to take an unexpected break.
Finally, by the end of 2019, we had found and moved into our new location after a long and exhausting search.
We started constructing our new studio, where we still hold our weekly online broadcasts. We have been showcasing various styles and genres on our channel, including psytrance, dubstep, and breakcore, thanks to the ever-growing network of likeminded people in the music scene. We've also had several opportunities to take our setup on the road, streaming live from actual parties (in public and underground locations).
